The hectic sales activities before Christmas left our stocks at a very low level - a nice problem to have!! So, after a well-earned break, our first task was to “fill the pipeline”; we have now bottled one batch, produced another to bottle and distilled spirit ready for diluting to drinking strength. Distillations were very welcome since the ambient temperature at the distillery has been hovering around 8°C and Patience acts as a good radiator when she is working!!!
What else have been happening? As well as restocking some of our outlets we are now listed with H.T.White, a distributor based in Eastbourne who supplies bars, restaurants and hotels in the Kent, Sussex and Surrey area. Hopefully this will lead not only to many sales, but will also help to get our name better known locally.
We have started some experiments infusing a range of botanicals for a Summer Cup - watch this space - and our bottle suppliers and designer have been briefed to create an image for our new products consistent with our existing branding. We are planning to attend more shows and enter competitions this year and we will keep you informed as these events unfold.
In the meantime, join us at the Pilot Inn in Dungeness for the Sloe Gin evening on Friday 31st January and just contact Kim on firstname.lastname@example.org if you want more details about this event.
Until then, we hope you are enjoying some Anno Kent Dry Gin in front of a fire to help survive the cold, wet winter evenings.
