We have produced a couple of large batches of gin, filled and capped several hundred 70cl and miniature bottles and received the point of sales material and bottle tags. 5,000 elastic loops now need to be attached to the 5,000 bottle tags…. a job for the long winter nights in front of the fire!! We are ready to market our Anno Kent Dry Gin and indeed we have recently made our first two commercial sales - an exciting milestone in our journey!
Our site alcohol licence has been granted so we can now sell direct from the distillery but we are still waiting for our application for a card reader to be processed so that orders can be paid by credit card.
We were invited by Fever Tree, the premium tonic company, to send some of our gin to appear at their G+T Fever event at the Chelsea Physic Gardens where Kim received some excellent feedback. We also attended the first UK Craft Distilling EXPO at The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane and Norman's talk on the Chemistry of Distilling was very well received.
There are some key food and drink shows now on the horizon and we have booked a stand at The Spirit of Christmas Fair (5-10 November) and BBC Food and Drink show (15-17 November) both at Olympia. Come and see us on stand FD56a (on the mezzanine/gallery next to Mossiman's restaurant) at the Spirit of Christmas Fair and you can sample our gin and have a chat!
Finally we have launched our website www.annodistillers.co.uk where you can find more information about us, our products and serving suggestions and stockists will be posted there as they are secured.
