Anno Distillers Newsletter 5 - August 2013
Anno wins another 3 awards!

What an exciting month for Anno Distillers with three more fantastic awards for our Anno Kent Dry Gin!

On March 12th Norman and Kim attended the fantastic black tie Taste of Kent Awards organised by Produced in Kent and we were absolutely delighted to receive both Speciality Drinks Product of the Year and Overall Taste of Kent Product of the Year!

There were also many wonderful comments such as:
“The winner of this surprise class was considered ‘amazing’, ‘beautifully branded demonstrating very strong Kentishness’ and ‘had very clear flavour’ ‘just perfect in every way’”.
“From the winning products in the food product category classes, the judges had the difficult task of deciding an overall winner for the Kent Food Product of the Year with an excellent range of products from which to choose. However, the judges were unanimous in their decision”.

We are also very proud to be awarded a gold medal for our Kent Dry Gin by the prestigious The San Francisco World Spirits Competition!

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is the largest, most influential international spirits competition in the world and judges are all internationally recognized spirits experts. The judging is consensual and blind, ensuring its competitive integrity.  So for our Anno Kent Dry Gin to be recognised as one of the very best in the world by such a respected institution is a fantastic achievement and one that we are truly delighted with.

And you can drink Anno Kent Dry Gin while cruising on Britannia!

Our Kent Dry Gin has been selected for Britannia's Great British Gin Menu, which features the finest artisan gins from around the UK.

Britannia is the new P&O superliner and the largest cruise ship designed exclusively for the British market - she can carry 3600 passengers in total luxury.  She was officially named by Her Majesty the Queen on Tuesday 10th March 2015 in Southampton, Britannia's home port.

P&O Cruises marketing director Christopher Edgington commented that “the recent surge in the popularity of gin has seen a huge rise in the number of craft gin makers setting up business. The Great British Gin Menu on board Britannia reflects the increasing popularity of this quintessentially British drink and celebrates the success of these artisan distillers”.
