Kim and Norman attended the black tie dinner for the Taste of Kent Awards and I’m pleased to announce we won our category of Speciality Drinks Producer of the Year as well as Overall Food Product of the Year!!! Incredibly honoured and amazed to have won these awards when Kent produces so many absolutely fantastic products.
Visited the Institute of Directors Headquarters in Pall Mall this evening to give a talk and tasting on the history of gin. Starting from the origin of Dutch Genever, through Old Tom style, London Dry and tonic water and Navy strength to the contemporary artisan craft gins like Anno. Each gin was paired with a canape created by the IoD chefs to compliment style.

Norman attended, our stockist, Gorgeous George’s charity event in aid of the British Trust this evening. An art auction was held in the Portelli Room Gallery above the store, along with live music and tastings by ourselves and canapes by the Campervan Chef. The evening raised about £800 for charity.
