05/05/2017 Squeezing every last drop of juice infused gin out of those cranberries!
Working in a distillery is a varied role, often including bizarre tasks. This month, Anno co-founder and Dr of Chemistry, Norman was bestowed with a noble task . . . standing in a tank and fishing out the bags of Cranberries! Back in January we filled muslin sacks with 400 kilos of cranberries and left them to steep in gin for several months. Last week it was time to give them a squeeze and reap the delicious cranberry/gin liquid from them! It will now spend the next month infusing with warming spices to create the fabulous festive flavour. The Cranberry & Gin spirit will be bottled and ready for release in October.
