06/11/2017 - Anno Distillers are thrilled to announce the launch of our crowdfunding campaign!
Since formation, Anno Distillers have brought to the market five products and grown their turnover by an impressive 45% year-on-year. We are now ready to embark on a new and exciting chapter in our journey and couldn't be more thrilled!
Anno Distillers was founded in 2011 by Dr Andy Reason and Dr Norman Lewis. Research and Development chemists by trade, they decided to combine their scientific prowess with an appreciation for fine spirits and open a distillery. It was Andy and Normans mission to create an exceptionally smooth spirit, after months and months of tasting, testing and waiting for various licenses to come through, they finally felt they had a perfect recipe. This recipe was inspired by their surroundings in The Garden of England, and uses Kentish hops, samphire, lavender, elderflower and rosehips all form the local area, amongst its 16 botanicals. The first bottle of Anno Kent Dry Gin was sold in 2013 and has gone from strength to strength. Anno now has a range of 5 spirits and over 20 awards and accolades to our name.
Over the past 5 years, most of Anno’s focus and effort has been on creating and producing perfectly balanced, deliciously complex and wonderfully smooth spirits. The very impressive sales growth has been a direct result of this pursuit of perfection and craft that the founders have employed. The next phase in the company’s development is to invest in sales and marketing to develop a strong base for the Anno brand and expand sales nationally and internationally. We want to show the world what Kent has to offer!
Through the Crowdfunding platform, Seedrs, we are hoping to raise £750,000. This investment will go towards recruiting a new sales force for the brands, as well as increasing the overall sales and marketing budgets. Investments can be as little as £100 and we are offering great investor perks as well as a 30% tax credit for eligible investors. Don’t miss your opportunity to support a luxury British brand and become a part of a market that is set to be worth £1.3 billion by 2020! (Find out about the recent ginaissance here)
